Kyokushin karate “World Cup”

On July 2-nd, Kyokushin karate "World Cup"was held in Varna Bulgaria. Armenian Kyokushin karate federation was also a part of it and had the following accoomplishments . In the 50 weight category for 14-15 year old age group, our Hamlet Tarverdyan won the gold medal by winning all his 4 bouts . In up to 55 weight category for 14-55 year old age group , our Vahagn Hakobyan won the silver medal by winning all his 3 bouts. In the 65 weight category  for 16-17 year old age group ,our Davit Karapetyan won the silver medal by winning all his 3 bouts . In the 65 weight category for 16-17 year old age group, our Lilianna Karapetian won the silver medal by winning all his 3 bouts. Angela Zalinyan became a bronze medal winner in the age group of 18-21, 65+. Best Technique prizes were awarded to Vahagn Hakobyan among boys and Lilianna Karapetian among girls. We congratulate the athletes of our federation on their successful competitions, wishing them endless strength and fighting spirit. Our athletes have once again proven that they can honor the Armenian flag in any country and that the Armenian Federation is one of the most powerful in the world.
